Why Hire A Professional?
Cost Savings
Keeping your home or business clean preserves your investment. Unkept homes and businesses can quickly deteriorate when neglected. So why spend heard earned money repainting or doing repairs that could have been prevented in the first place? While you could go out and buy a power washer yourself, light duty machines found at your local hardware store may not give you the results you desire. Many of these residential grade pressure washers are not capable of creating high enough pressures and flow rates to operate attachments such as surface cleaners. Often customers with subpar DIY results end up calling professionals after ending up with inconsistent results. So why not just cut costs from the start and give us a call?
Time Savings
Pressure washing can be time consuming. A house wash can take a substantial amount of time. A home owner could spend countless hours pressure washing their home or they could spend that precious time with their family. A business owner could have their employees do the work instead of working on projects that could ultimately grow the business. It just makes sense to hire a professional so that you can do what matters most to you.
Damage Avoidance
If you are not careful you could do more harm than good. High pressures or the wrong cleaning solution can damage paint and other soft materials such as the mortar around brick. Maintaining an understanding of the wide variety of materials and the necessary pressure washing and soft washing techniques for those materials is no easy task. Our professionals have the knowledge and experience to know what to use and how to achieve a spotless clean while avoiding any damage that could end up costing you in the end.
What Is Pressure Washing?A pressure washer is essentially a water pump that is powered by an electric or gasoline engine. Water is input with a standard hose into the pump where the water is then forced out through a hose into the wand or other attachment such as a surface cleaner. The wand allows for the attachment of different sized nozzles that create a stream of water that is then used for cleaning purposes. Larger nozzles create low pressures and smallest ones create the highest pressures. Nozzle selection depends on the surface and materials being cleaned. The surface cleaner is an alternative to the wand that has multiple nozzles and allows for large areas to be power washed quickly. Concrete is a great example of a material that benefits from power washing. Concrete is porous and allows for oil, dirt and grime to soak in. This dirt and grime is no match for a stream of high pressure water.

What Is Soft Washing? When high pressures cannot be used due to softer or more delicate materials soft washing is a great choice. Soft washing combines low pressure nozzles in combination with cleansers, degreasers and soft bristle brushes to attack stubborn dirt, pollen, mold, algae and moss. In soft washing the cleansers used are doing most of the work preserving the more delicate finishes on your home or business. Two common examples of soft washing are when cleaning siding and asphalt roofs. Both are more fragile materials that that could be easily damaged by high pressure water.
